- After conducting a communications audit across several divisions of a large Canadian bank, Tom completely revamped all communications from a look that could be best described as “industrial strength” to one that was customer friendly, informative and solutions oriented. It was the start of repositioning one of Canada’s largest banks to one that positioned the bank as friendly and helpful.
- Tom completely overhauled the advertising and communications support for Sympatico Internet services from what one might characterize as “cartooish” to one focused on how the Internet empowers consumers to make their lives easier. Sales soared. It was featured in a Canadian marketing textbook. The solutions oriented positioning was extended to include all Bell products.
- Created award winning TV creative to introduce the TD Canada Trust Friends of the Environment Foundation.
- Created the idea for a leading manufacturer of men’s socks that was executed by a British ad agency winning a Cannes Lion d’Or.
